Disclaimer: information only, not financial advice

The short version: MarketMintr publishes information and analysis for education. It is not financial advice. We may own the stocks we write about, and when we do, we say so. You are responsible for your own decisions.
Information only
Everything on marketmintr.com, in member posts, emails and on our social media pages is general information and commentary about markets and companies. It is published for educational and informational purposes only.
Nothing we publish is a recommendation or an offer to buy, sell or hold any security, or a solicitation of any such offer.
Not personal advice
What we publish is the same for every reader. We don't know your income, savings, debts, goals, tax position, time horizon or tolerance for risk, so nothing we publish takes them into account.
- We are not acting as your investment adviser, financial planner, broker or tax adviser.
- We do not give individual advice by message, email, comment or any other channel, and we won't answer questions like "should I buy this?"
- Before acting on anything you read here, consider whether it suits your circumstances and talk to a licensed professional who knows them.
Investing is risky
Stocks and other securities can lose value quickly, and you can lose some or all of the money you invest. Some ideas we write about will turn out badly; the track record shows those as well as the good ones.
- Past results do not predict future results. That includes ours.
- We make no promise of any return. Any figures we show are historical and calculated as described on the track record page.
- We can be wrong. We work hard to be accurate but we can make mistakes, rely on data that turns out to be incorrect, or miss things that matter. Information may also become out of date after it's published.
We may hold positions, and we will disclose them
People who write for MarketMintr may own, or may buy or sell, securities that we write about. When a writer holds a position in a security discussed in a post at the time it is published, the post says so.
[Trading policy around publication, TODO.]
We are not paid by any company we write about. If that ever changes for a particular post, the post will say so clearly.
How results are calculated
Results on the track record are based on the price stated in each write-up at publication and the price stated when the idea is closed. They ignore dividends, fees, taxes, currency effects and slippage. A real account would get different results.
Your responsibility
You alone decide what to do with your money. By using this site you agree that MarketMintr and its writers are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, anything we publish, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Questions
If anything on this page is unclear, ask before you rely on anything we publish.
