Privacy notice

Draft – pending legal review. This text has not been reviewed by a lawyer and may change.

This notice explains what MarketMintr collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We collect as little as we can.

What we collect

  • Waitlist: your email address, the page you signed up from, and the time you signed up.
  • Members (when payments open): your email address and subscription status. Payment details are collected and stored by Stripe, not by us.
  • Server logs: like every website, our server briefly records technical data such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. We also use IP addresses for a short time to stop the sign-up form being abused.

We don't use advertising trackers, and we don't sell or rent your data to anyone.

Why we use it

  • To email you when membership opens (waitlist).
  • To provide your membership, and send you service messages about it (members).
  • To keep the site secure.

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run MarketMintr: our hosting provider and, for members, Stripe for payments. Each only gets what it needs to do its job.

How long we keep it

Waitlist emails are kept until membership opens and we've told you, or until you ask us to remove you. Member records are kept while you're a member and for as long afterwards as the law requires for accounting.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Contact: [contact address, TODO].

Changes

If this notice changes, we'll update this page and, for material changes, tell members by email.
